Ain't no such thing as halfway crooks.

RANDOM PHOTO YAYYY.

I miss the old days where I would hang out everyday at the basketball court.
Since forever, ball has been the one thing I always loved. The only one I would do anything for.

It seems like it's not the case now.

\The days where I would go online and look up on the final scores of each game, follow each pair of new kicks released. Catch every highlight of the game.
Not anymore.

My passion for the game has faded due to the countless competitions and trainings that have become such a huge routine of my secondary school life.
People hate being bounded by the meaningless routines of everyday life.

Even as I am typing this, I'm wearing my school's jersey and a pair of ball shorts that I used to wear to ball all the time.
I do miss basketball. Hell, I miss sports.

Since sec 4 started, I've been piling countless of reasons to avoid sports, partially due to my recent fascination with cardistry, filming, photography and yadayaydayada.
Fuck that, it's the holidays already, I've spent most of it rotting and screwing my body up already.

So,
Starting tomorrow, I'll be on my way to a better lifestyle.
I do like to think that I'm not *ahem* fat.
Just that I'm not entirely happy with my body.
But fuck it, its not about being thin or shit like that.
Its about going back to the lifestyle I loved.

"Too much sitting has ruined my body. Too much abuse has gone on for too long." -Travis Bickle, Taxi Driver.

Fuck new year's resolutions. 1st Jan 2013 is just another new day.
Gotta fucking start now.

I know there's no need for me to post this out.
Well, who's reading anyway.

Viddy well little brother, viddy well.

HI FELICIA .
WO AI NEH.

Stockholm Syndrome, or capture-bonding, is a psychological phenomenon in which hostages express empathy and sympathy and have positive feelings towards their captors, sometimes to the point of defending them. These feelings are generally considered irrational in light of the danger or risk endured by the victims, who essentially mistake a lack of abuse from their captors for an act of kindness.

Stockholm syndrome is named after the Norrmalmstorg robbery of Kreditbanken at Norrmalmstorg in Stockholm, Sweden in which several bank employees were held hostage in a bank vault from August 23 to August 28, 1973. During this situation, the victims became emotionally attached to their captors, rejected assistance from government officials at one point and even defended them after they were freed from their six-day ordeal.

Hi, hi, hi there my pee and emm.

How art thou, thou globby bottle of cheap, stinking chip oil?

I absolutely love the language of the book 'A Clockwork Orange' by Anthony Burgess. Hard to understand at first but its real fun.
The picture above is the final scene from Fight Club. Best ending scene of all.
I could stare at it again and again for ages.
Brad Pitt, Edward Norton and Helena Boham Carter were amazing.

So hey guys, I know I've haven't been posting that regularly. Nobody visits anyway.
And I don't care either.
I just love talking about films over here. So as long I'm watching films, and as long I have an opinion about them, I'll keep posting here.

During my long hiatus, I have saw many countless movies. Might just wanna list them down here, not in order when , and I don't think I will list them all, cause I cant remember all.

- A Beautiful Mind
Great movie that's not that violent, love the idea of the movie.

-Audition
Old Japanese thriller that I didnt really like. I'm a huge fan of Japanese and Korean thillers like Oldboy and Confessions and BR. But this was really slow paced and awfully boring for me.

-Cold Fish
Bloody bloody bloody movie. Real mature content there. Liked it but wasn't that crazy over it. It became quite repetitive over time.

-Fight Club
I'm not supposed to talk about it. I'm sorry.
I don't think I have to anyway. Awesome enough.

-Gangs of New York
What a visual erection. Everything was so so perfect. Daniel Day Lewis was so great, Leo too.

-Goodfellas
Marty's masterpiece. Ray Liotta's laugh is horrible scary. And the fact that he looks like Barbie's boyfriend, Ken doesn't help either. De Niro and Pesci was great.

-I Saw The Devil
Korean Thriller. So disturbig it's good HAHA. Lovedddd ittttt.

-Insomnia
Al Pacino, Chris Nolan with his trademark filming and style. My favourite actor, Robin Williams.
Need I say more?

-Kick Ass
Funny, sadly I have a anti-fetish against Nick Cage. And against comedic movies.

-Leon
One of my favorite, violence, heartwarming, awkward moments. Loved all the performances by everyone.
Gary Oldman was awfully good.

-Memento
Chris Nolan's artwork. This would have been such an awesome movie if only I WASN'T HALF STONED.
I could barely catch up with the movie.

-Moneyball
Economics, Baseball, Brad Pitt. Liked it:)

-No Country For Old Men
I came into the movie expecting some movie about old men in the modern day age.
Not some psychopath killer with a horrible haircut.
Terrifying.

-Red Lights
Crappy movie. What a waste of Robert De Niro

-Saving Private Ryan
UPHAM SHOULD HAVE FUCKING DIED. NOT CAPT MILLER.
This movie got me so emotionally caught up with the characters.
Definitely in my top 3.

-Shutter Island.
Probably one of my favorite movies by one of my favorite directors.
I remember having nightmares after this movie.
I hope you guys have nightmares too.

-The Big Lebowski
Comedy. MEH.

-The Departed.
Awesome. Leo, Jack, Mark, Matt. Awfully awesome.

-The King's Speech.
Loved the acting of Colin Firth, and Helena.

-The Social Network
How could one ever make coding so cool. David Fincher, Jesse, Andrew.

-There Will Be Blood
DDL was awesome. This introduced me to Paul Dano. His acting was awfully real.

-Tropic Thunder.
Comedy. But it wasn't that bad.

That's all I have to say about that.
Long post I know, but who's reading anyway.

American History X

'So I guess this is where I tell you what I learned - my conclusion, right? Well, my conclusion is: Hate is baggage. Life's too short to be pissed off all the time. It's just not worth it. Derek says it's always good to end a paper with a quote. He says someone else has already said it best. So if you can't top it, steal from them and go out strong. So I picked a guy I thought you'd like. 'We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory will swell when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature.' -Danny Vinyard

American History X was riveting. This might just be my favourite movie yet.
Highly highly recommended.

Seeya soon guys, going to watch it again:)

Now back to Gene Krupa's syncopated style.

In Quentin Tarantino's 1997 film adaption of Elmore Leonard's novel 'Rum Punch' , titled 'Jackie Brown', there's a scene like this. Louis, a old ex-bank robber and jail convict and Melanie, a surfer chick have smuggled half a million dollars. Louis goes to the parking lot and can't seems to find his car. He walks around, searching for the car, while Melanie walks behind him, mocking the fuck out of him. He reaches breaking point, and pops a cap right in her face.
That's how I felt today.

'Listen, you fuckers, you screwheads. Here is a man who would not take it anymore. A man who stood up against the scum, the cunts, the dogs, the filth, the shit. Here is a man who stood up' -Travis Bickle. Taxi Driver, 1976, Martin Scorsese.

My god I love typography.

Thank God for the rain to wash the trash off the sidewalk.

Cause I'm Mr Brightside.

Artwork by ME.

Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of updates. The O's are arriving and it's way hectic and crazy over here. I've nothing to post, just wanted to get something out here to prevent this blog from rotting.
Hmmm, do people even use the term 'rotting' for blogs nowadays? I know it was popular back in Primary school days. But now? Oh well, using it anyway cause I'M HIPSTER LIK DAT.

See ya guys!

People suffering from depression actually have a more accurate perception of reality. This is because they are not affected by positive illusions and optimism bias. This perception is known as Depressive realism.
Makes me wanna get depression.

Uncomfortable Silences

Mia: Don't you hate that?
Vincent: Hate what?

Mia: Uncomfortable silences. Why do we feel it's necessary to yak about bullshit? In order to be comfortable?
Vincent: I don't know. That's a good question.
Mia: That's when you know you found somebody really special, when you can just shut the fuck up for a minute, and comfortably share silence.

-Pulp Fiction

Just a little update to show you I'm still in this blogging thing. Nothing much happened in my life recently, so I've nothing to post. At least nothing that interests you anyway.
Just received the sweetest text since a long long time. It wasn't even meant to be sweet. But just kinda means a lot to me.

Good times, good times.

It was always said that a dream is always a fragment of your true feelings. A abstract way of phrasing what you're feeling.
